A Peek Into The Storyline
2014 and 2015 were the years when all of us experienced an unexpected war between humans and angels in this world.
The war, yes in the series, starts when angels realize that God has vanished and one of the two sections of the angels begins to believe that humans are to be blamed for this.
The angels in this fantasy series are divided into two categories with each category taking its stand.
The higher angels maintain their neutrality while the lower angels get influenced by Gabriel and follow him to attack humans.
The war breaks out and humans must do whatever it takes to survive in their world.
Humans, at one point, do lose most of the part of their world but things get interesting when Michael, a warrior from the higher angels, lands, and sides with them.
The Cast
The entire series centers around two main characters who represent the same world but on opposite sides.
Carl Beukes portrays Gabriel, a villain who leads the lower angels and begins the war against the humans.
It is still a surprise to everyone as to how he twisted the minds of the lower angels and got them to start a war against those who had nothing to do with them.
The second main character is Michael, portrayed by Tom Wisdom. His character remains calm and understands that humans had nothing to do with what happened to God.
Both the characters come face-to-face to save their sides.
When Can We Expect The Release
Watching the second installment end was a heartbreak and what they did with the script shattered the pieces of our hearts. This is probably the reason why the third installment currently stands canceled, at least this is what fans are saying everywhere on the internet.
Vaun Eilmott, the creator of the series, came out to announce that it was financial issues that brought the series to an end. Universal Cable Prods along with Bold Films did whatever they could to get the show going on Syfy but were unable to.
It has been nearly six years and we are yet to figure out what Noma did at the end of the second installment.

After twenty-one episodes, the series went off the air and is expected to remain that way for a while. Syfy has cited insufficient money as the reason to cancel the series.
However, fans have started to do their jobs already. Fans have started to request all the OTT platforms to revive the show, with better writing, and conclude the series how it deserves to be concluded.
